This role is responsible for providing a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment for psychiatric patients while assisting with the provision of basic patient care and recovery needs.pbResponsibilities/b/pullipYou will support the unit through excellent patient customer service and clinic management assistance/p/lilipYou will collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, front office staff and clinic management to ensure comprehensive health care outcomes/p/lilipYou will perform a variety of functions within the clinic setting requiring specialized knowledge and integration of available standards, resources, and data/p/lilipAdvocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds/p/lilipYou will assist with maintaining a safe and hazard free environment by observing and documenting patient behavior, conducting patient room searches, reporting unsafe conditions and applying appropriate emotional and physical support/p/lilipYou will provide and document interventions in a variety of modalities individually matched to the needs of each patient/p/li/ulh1/h1pbRequirements/b/pdivullipBachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or any other human services field preferred and/or in lieu of education, will take 1 year of experience./p/lilipMust be eligible to obtain a Washington State Agency Affiliated Counselor; apply within 30 days and have from DOH within 90 days./p/lilipMust obtain a Nursing Assistant Registered or CNA prior to start date/p/lilipIf assigned to bNavos Hospital/b, BLS certification is required prior to starting. Other campuses require CPR certification prior to starting on the floor and can be obtained onsite, if not already in hand./p/lilipIf assigned to bNavos Hospital/b, First Aid training is required prior to starting./p/lilipIf assigned to bNavos Hospital/b, Food Handler#39;s Card is required within first two weeks of hire date/p/li/ul/divp style="text-align:inherit"/pp style="text-align:left"bPay and Benefit Expectations/b/pWe provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $24.85 - $36.50 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
