With a 20+ year track record and the strength of Productivity Inc. behind us, we’re growing and ready to add a Used Equipment Salesperson to cover Eastern Minnesota, Wisconsin, Eastern Iowa, and Eastern Illinois.
This is a unique role where your knowledge of the shop floor meets opportunity in the marketplace.
What You’ll Do
Locate, evaluate, and secure used CNC and industrial equipment for resale
Identify and pursue industrial auction opportunities in your region
Build strong relationships with manufacturers, brokers, and equipment dealers
Accurately assess equipment condition, resale value, and market demand
Promote listings via MachinesUsed.com and coordinate associated transactions
Track leads, quotes, and customer activity through CRM tools
Work independently and strategically to drive used equipment sales
Who This Role Is Great For
A machinist, service tech, application engineer, or tooling rep ready to transition into sales
A salesperson in the manufacturing industry looking to specialize in used equipment
Someone with auction or equipment sales experience who knows how to assess value and close a deal
What You Bring
CNC or metalworking equipment knowledge—through use, service, or sales
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
Motivation to work independently and manage a flexible, self-directed schedule
Professional communication skills and attention to detail
Solid computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with CRM systems
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regionally to visit customers and inspect equipment
