Contract Maintenance Planner

Aerotek is hiring a Maintenance Planner for a Manufacturing Facility located in the downtown Memphis, TN area. This is a 1st shift (7am-3:30pm) position paying $38-$40/hr. This is also a one year contract role.

Job Description

As a Maintenance Planner, you will review equipment specifications and blueprints to determine the materials and labor required for preventative maintenance and repairs. Your role involves developing job tasks and procedures, determining manpower and equipment requirements, ordering materials, and developing schedules and charts.

Responsibilities

• Use Microsoft Office Suite applications and CMMS to run reports and balance accounts.
• Accurately code data and develop job tasks.
• Order necessary materials and develop comprehensive schedules and charts.
• Run planning meetings and establish a daily job status update system.
• Identify resource requirements and incorporate 'run to run' plans in the schedule to optimize operational and contract resources.
• Prepare backlog (BWB) and understand shutdown operations to properly plan and schedule work.

Essential Skills

• Mechanical and maintenance repair expertise.
• Schedule planning, with experience in valves and motors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CMMS.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in planning and scheduling.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with SAP or similar maintenance software is a large plus.
• Proficient in all aspects of conveyor maintenance.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and navigate stairs and ladders.
• Capability to work in non-climate controlled and outdoor environments.

Work Environment

This role is based in a food-grade manufacturing facility with equipment located both indoors and outdoors. The work environment may require accessing outdoor conveyors using stairs or ladders. Steel toe boots are mandatory, and while there is no uniform, practical attire is necessary.
