Machine Maintenance Tech

We are a large corporation in need of a Maintenance Assistant who has maintenance experience repairing, diagnosing machining issues and doing preventative maintenance. We provide a great team oriented environment for our staff. Full benefit package including 401K and hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday. You need the 2-3 years experience of maintenance duties. If you like working with your hands and have building maintenance background please submit your resume. Salary is between $60-$65/K. You need experience in the duties below:

Summary of Duties:

· Assists Maintenance Supervisor in repairing and maintaining buildings, machinery and electrical and mechanical equipment. The more experience you have in fixing manufacturing machines for laminating, and converting the better. This is a well rounded position that requires mechanical abilities for building maintenance and machinery repair work.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

· Perform maintenance and repair work to repair and maintain buildings, facilities, electrical facilities, piping, sewers and plumbing fixtures.

· Responsible for the operation of heating and refrigeration units, compressors, electrical facilities, piping, sewers and plumbing fixtures.

· Maintain buildings to include the repair of windows, doors, roof, floors, lighting and stairways.

· Construct shop partitions, bins, racks, pallets and shipping crates and fabricate machine fixtures and safety guards.

· Repair and adjust small machines, such as die-cutters, slitters, sheeters, laminating and other related machines and equipment.

· Diagnose problems, dissemble, determine extent of repairs necessary to repair machines, refit and replace parts, test and make adjustments.

· Requisition and purchase necessary parts for the repair of equipment.

· Dismantles machines or equipment, replaces defective parts and motors, and adjusts feed mechanisms.

· Cleans and lubricates machine parts such as shafts, pulleys, gears, and bearings.

· Paints machines or equipment to prevent corrosion.

Follow safety rules, keep work area in a clean and orderly condition. Remove snow and salt the stairs, walkways and parking lot as weather demands
