Building and Maintenance Supervisor

Divine Mercy Parish seeking a Building And Maintenance Supervisor to become a part of our team!

The Building and Maintenance supervisor is responsible for regular maintenance and upkeep of the church, CFC and rectory properties. .

Approximately 20-25 hours per week

• Inspect and identify equipment or machines in need of repair or maintenance

• Perform regular preventative maintenance to ensure that machinery continues to run smoothly and building systems operate efficiently

• Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues and ensure systems are working properly.

• Repair machines, equipment, or structures.

• Do minor repairs, such as fixing leaky faucets, unclogging drains, electrical issues, repairing doors and fences, painting

• Monitor HVAC, and other building systems to ensure they are functioning properly

• Carry out grounds keeping duties such as landscaping, mowing grounds and manage team of volunteers that assist with this.

• Order supplies and parts needed for maintenance and repairs.

• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and organized work areas

• Coordinate with various vendors and other professionals during inspections and renovations or facility expansions

• Record and report completed repairs and items that require further attention
