Join Our OB/GYN Hospitalist Team in Seattle, WA

Pediatrix is excited to invite Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN Hospitalists to join our dynamic, collaborative, and mission-driven team in the beautiful greater Seattle area. Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive OB/GYN hospitalist care in two major facilities: Swedish Medical Center-First Hill (6,000 deliveries/year) and Swedish Issaquah (1,800 deliveries/year).
  • Support Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) and OB providers with labor and deliveries, surgical assists, and obstetric emergencies.
  • Manage obstetric triage and emergency situations, including ectopic pregnancies and torsions.
  • Perform routine GYN procedures, including diagnostic laparoscopy, supporting the Emergency Department.
  • Participate in academic activities, teaching OB fellows and residents from OB and family medicine programs.
  • Collaborate with a respected maternal-fetal medicine team in a collegial and supportive environment.
  • Work a flexible schedule of 6–8 24-hour shifts per month promoting a healthy work-life balance.

  • This is a permanent, full-time position that requires residency within the immediate local area. Relocation may be required.
Qualifications:
  • Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in OB/GYN.
  • Valid Washington state medical license (or willingness to obtain).
  • OB Hospitalist work experience preferred.
  • Clean malpractice and license history highly preferred.
  • Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active).
  • Willingness to relocate if not currently living in the area.
  • Must not require visa support (J1 or H1B).
  • DEA must be obtained prior to start.
License and Certification Requirements:
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN.
  • Valid medical license in Washington State (or willingness to obtain).
  • DEA license (must be obtained before the start of employment).
