Hospitalist opening in North CarolinaFull timeOxford, NCA well-established healthcare organization in North Carolina is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to provide high-quality inpatient care to adult patients. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, patient-centered team committed to excellence and evidence-based medicine.Position Responsibilities: Provide direct inpatient care to adult patients, managing both acute and chronic medical conditions. Conduct inpatient and outpatient internal medicine consultations as needed. Follow current evidence-based clinical guidelines and institutional procedures to ensure high standards of patient care. Educate and counsel patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventive health strategies. Participate in quality assurance, peer reviews, and continuing education activities to maintain clinical competency. Adhere to all institutional policies and regulatory requirements to ensure safety, compliance, and quality outcomes. Provide compassionate, culturally competent care to a diverse patient population. Utilize CPT/ICD-10 coding and maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote coordinated and efficient patient care.Candidate Qualifications: MD or DO with current and valid North Carolina medical license (or eligibility to obtain). Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. Board Certified or Board Eligible in specialty. Demonstrated clinical competence, strong interpersonal skills, and a patient-first approach.
