Job Description

This health system is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible, fellowship-trained Endocrinologist to launch a dedicated outpatient practice. Position Highlights

  • Outpatient only  - No inpatient or call responsibilities

  • Clinic hours: Monday - Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM

  • Practice at one location within the doctor's building

  • In-house lab and radiology services for efficient diagnostics

  • Dedicated Endocrinology RN for personalized clinical support

  • Teaching opportunities with DO medical students and internal medicine residents

  • High regional demand ensures consistent patient volume

Practice Environment

  • 420-bed tertiary referral center and Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine (ACOM) campus

  • Regional catchment area of 450,000+ across AL, GA, and FL

  • Advanced imaging: PET, 3T MRI, 64-slice CT, interventional radiology

  • Full spectrum of specialist support including neurosurgery, EP cardiology, and pain management

  • EMR: Cerner (hospital) and Athena (clinic)

  • Accredited Internal Medicine and Transitional Year residency programs

  • Dedicated oncology rehab, diagnostics, and supportive care services
