Job Description:
We are seeking a Board Certified Hematology/Oncology Physician with recent patient-facing experience to join our outpatient clinic team. This position offers a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension. The provider will support staff at Hazard, working alongside Advanced Practice Providers and three physicians. The schedule is flexible, with 3-5 days per week typically from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, no call required. The department focuses on a 60/40 Hematology/Oncology mix, with low patient volume (~15 patients per day). This role utilizes Meditech EMR and involves a day shift working five days per week.

Responsibilities:

• Providing outpatient hematology and oncology care in a clinic setting
• Supporting staff including APP support and physicians
• Managing approximately 15 patients daily in a solo provider setting
• Ensuring quality patient care and documentation

Requirements:

• Board Certification in Hematology and Oncology
• Recent patient-facing experience in a clinical setting
• Ability to work independently with minimal call
• EMR proficiency (Meditech preferred)
• Licensure and certification as required

Hourly Pay Rate ($): 479.70
