QA Tech - Food Handling Experience Required

North Kingstown, RI Area

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Technician with experience in food manufacturing to join our team! This role involves conducting tests to determine the quality of materials and finished products, while identifying areas of improvement to increase efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough examinations of materials and finished products
• Perform and report internal audits and evaluations
• Improve and implement quality control procedures
• Identify and troubleshoot equipment defects
• Participate in routine visual inspections
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in food handling and factory environments
• Ability to work in cold temperatures
• Must have own vehicle to visit multiple locations (mileage reimbursement provided)
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs without difficulty
• Previous experience in quality control or related fields preferred
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
