What you will do:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on large equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance and predictive repairs to minimize downtime
• Fabricate basic metal parts such as guards, brackets, and shields
• Replace faulty wiring, switches, and relays (480V systems)
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications
• Coordinate with outside service providers and initiate purchase orders for parts and equipment
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and internal safety standards
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to urgent maintenance needs

What you will need to be successful:

• 3+ years of industrial machinery maintenance experience plus 1 year of technical school, or 5+ years of hands-on experience
• Experience working around 480V electrical systems
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Comfortable in confined spaces and around high-speed equipment
• Basic metal fabrication skills
• Preferred: automotive mechanical experience, MIG/stick welding, web-fed printing experience, and familiarity with ink pump systems
