Position Overview
We are a well-established local flooring company seeking a motivated Flooring Sales Associate to join our team in Colorado Springs. This role is primarily showroom-based with occasional in-home visits for measurements and project coordination.
If you have a passion for sales, an eye for design, and a strong understanding of flooring products, this is an excellent opportunity to grow with a fast-paced, customer-first business.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist walk-in customers in the showroom
- Guide clients through product selection (carpet, vinyl, laminate, hardwood, tile, etc.)
- Visit homes for measurements and install preparation
- Generate detailed quotes and follow up with leads
- Build lasting relationships with retail customers, property managers, and commercial clients
- Maintain product knowledge and showroom presentation
- Coordinate with installation teams and vendors
- Track all leads, quotes, and communications through CRM system
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of flooring sales experience (retail, property management, or commercial)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Basic computer proficiency (email, spreadsheets, quoting tools)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Comfortable conducting in-home visits for estimates
