Part-time Event Supervisor

Position Overview

The Part-Time Event Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the execution of onsite events, serving as the key liaison between clients, catering team, and venue staff. This role ensures every event runs smoothly, professionally, and in alignment with client expectations. This position will work closely with the Sales & Event Manager. 

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary onsite representative for events, from load-in to breakdown.
• Serve as the direct point of contact for clients during events, handling questions, concerns, and requests in real time.
• Coordinate with Bouk Catering and other vendor teams to ensure timely and professional service.
• Monitor event flow, timeline, and logistics across various indoor and outdoor venue spaces.
• Oversee setup and teardown of furniture, décor, rentals, signage, and AV, according to event specifications.
• Ensure compliance with venue policies, safety regulations, and client contracts.
• Provide event-day leadership to support catering staff and/or vendors.
• Maintain a professional and welcoming presence that represents The Venues at Langtree and Bouk Catering brands.
• Assist with event related social media posts before, during or after events as assigned.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in event supervision, hospitality, or venue coordination preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-service mindset.
• Ability to problem-solve and adapt quickly in dynamic event settings.
• Comfortable managing multiple tasks and staff simultaneously.
• Available evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on event schedule.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and basic post creation or content ideas

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay: Competitive hourly rate based on experience
• Hours: Part-time, primarily evenings and weekends (event-based scheduling)
