Position Summary:

LiveHappy, LLC is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and results-driven Dispensary Store Manager to lead daily retail operations at our brand-new dispensary in Cathedral City. This individual will play a critical role in launching and scaling a best-in-class cannabis retail experience. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of proven success in dispensary management, strong leadership skills, and a passion for building high-performing teams while driving sales and ensuring full compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the dispensary, ensuring a smooth and compliant retail experience

• Train, lead, and motivate a team of Budtenders

• Meet and exceed sales goals through team performance and promotional execution

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience and resolve any escalated issues

• Ensure all compliance protocols are followed, including ID checks, METRC accuracy, and inventory controls

• Monitor POS systems, cash handling procedures, and daily reporting

• Collaborate with VP of Sales to develop and implement promotions, sales strategies, and new product rollouts

• Analyze sales trends and provide performance reports, feedback, and inventory insights

• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing retail space

• Handle scheduling, labor management, and team accountability

• Serve as liaison between corporate leadership and retail floor operations

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience managing a licensed cannabis dispensary

• Deep knowledge of California cannabis regulations (BCC/DFPI/CDPH) and METRC

• Proven leadership and team development skills in a retail setting

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service abilities

• Proficiency in POS systems (Treez, Flowhub, etc.) and Microsoft Office

• Strong business acumen with a focus on KPIs, inventory accuracy, and revenue growth

• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

• Must be 21+ and able to pass all background and regulatory checks

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience opening a new dispensary or launching new store locations

• Familiarity with CRM tools, product merchandising, and consumer trends

• Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
