Job Description
The material handler role involves a variety of tasks essential for maintaining efficient warehouse operations. You will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, assisting with packaging, staging boxes and pallets for shipping, organizing and storing parts and products in the warehouse, and moving materials by hand. There is potential for training on forklift and/or wave machines.
Responsibilities- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Assist with packaging to ensure products are ready for shipment.
- Stage boxes and pallets accurately for shipping.
- Organize and store parts and products in designated areas within the warehouse.
- Move materials manually as required.
- Potential training and operation of forklift and/or wave machines.
- Proficiency in inventory management and shipping and receiving processes.
- Experience with SAP and RF scanner technology.
- Understanding of logistics and warehouse operations.
- 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to move swiftly in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic data entry skills.
- Experience with warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks preferred; ability to complete forklift certification.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Work EnvironmentYou will work in a large warehouse environment, which may not be climate-controlled. The role requires physical ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs., and frequent standing and bending.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.50/hr.
