About the Opportunity:
AnthroMed Education is seeking a full-time School Social Worker to support an elementary school in Carpentersville, IL. In this role, you will work with a K–5th grade population, supporting both general education and special education students. This is a great opportunity to join a school and cooperative known for their supportive environment and collaborative culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct social-emotional support and counseling to students
- Manage a caseload of general education and special education students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student well-being
- Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and crisis intervention
- Deliver services in both individual and group settings
Qualifications:
- Active Illinois PEL (Professional Educator License) with School Social Work endorsement
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but monolingual candidates will also be considered
- Prior school-based experience strongly preferred
