Number of Beds - 23
· Number of Staff – 50
· Type of staff:
o Day Shift – 1 charge, 12 RN
o Night Shift – 1 charge, 12 RN
· Patient Ratios – 1:2
· Type of equipment – GE Carescape bedside monitors, Codman EVD, EV 1000, Glucometer, iStat, Alaris IV Pump
· EMR - Meditech
Typical hiring profile
Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
· ICU experience w/vasoactive drip titration
· Ventilator management
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
· Neuro/Trauma ICU experience (TNCC certified)
· Cardiac experience
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
· Bedside Bronchoscopy
· CRRT
· Targeted Temperature Management
· Rapid Intubation
· Chest Tube insertion
· EVD placement
Best personality Fit:
· Flexible and easily adaptable to rapid change
· Calm and collected/Patient centered
Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire.
· Scrub Color - Navy Blue or White
