Advanced Practice Clinician –Gastroenterology

Mercy Health is actively recruiting a full-time Advanced Practice Clinician (APRN or PA-C) to support our inpatient gastroenterology team, based at Perrysburg Medical Center in Northwest Ohio. This role is integral to ensuring seamless inpatient care and continued access for our growing patient population.

Schedule and Structure:

• Full-time position with rotating hours between 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Weekend coverage is part of the rotating schedule
• Flexible shift options include 4x10 or 5x8-hour days

Role Overview:
The incoming APC will join a collaborative, hospital-based team focused on inpatient gastroenterology. The position centers around managing consults, following patients throughout their hospital stay, preparing for procedures, and coordinating care transitions. This is an opportunity to step into a role that meaningfully impacts access, efficiency, and quality for our patients.

Support and Team Structure:

• Supported by LPN/CMA staff
• Shared call coverage with a team of GI providers
• Integrated within a larger multi-specialty care team

Who We’re Looking For:

• GI or hospitalist experience is beneficial but not required
• Strong aptitude for inpatient care and consult management
• Clear communicator and collaborative mindset
