Medical Assistant

Responsibilities:

Front Office:

• Greet and register patients in a welcoming manner

• Verify insurance eligibility and coverage

• Collect co-pays and payments

• Answer phones, schedule appointments

• Referral coordination with medical groups

Back Office:

• Room patients and record vital signs

• Assist the physician with exams, minor surgical procedures, and EKGs

• Maintain clean and stocked exam rooms
