Experienced Presser - Dry Cleaning

Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Experienced Presser to join our professional dry cleaning team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating steam presses, spotting boards, and finishing equipment, with a strong understanding of garment care, fabric types, and proper pressing techniques.

You will play a key role in delivering the crisp, clean, high-quality finish our customers expect.

Flexible hours - part time or full time. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Press garments including shirts, pants, jackets, dresses, and specialty items using professional equipment

• Inspect each piece for stains, wrinkles, or damage before and after pressing

• Operate steam presses, hand irons, and finishing machines safely and efficiently

• Maintain proper tension, temperature, and pressure for different fabric types

• Follow finishing instructions and special customer requests precisely

• Work closely with other production staff to ensure timely order completion

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Assist in basic garment spotting or touch-up as needed

• Report equipment issues or garment concerns to management promptly

Requirements:

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in pressing at a dry cleaner or laundry facility

• Strong knowledge of garment care and various fabric types (silk, wool, linen, synthetics, etc.)

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality

• Attention to detail and pride in workmanship

• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented

• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift light to medium loads
