Make Ready Specialist - Now Hiring

• Prepare vacant apartments for new tenants
• Thoroughly cleaning the apartment, including bathrooms, kitchens, and all living areas. 
• Applying fresh paint to walls, trim, and other surfaces as needed. 
• Addressing minor repairs such as patching drywall, repairing or replacing fixtures (e.g., faucets, light fixtures), and fixing minor plumbing or electrical issues. 
• Applying caulk around sinks, tubs, and other areas to prevent water damage and improve aesthetics. 
• Ensuring all appliances (refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, etc.) are functioning properly. 
• Replacing batteries in smoke detectors, fixing leaky faucets, and other tasks as outlined on a make-ready checklist. 

• Cleaning common areas, picking up trash, and other tasks to maintain the overall appearance of the property. 
• Helping with tasks like changing air filters and other preventative maintenance activities. 
• Adhering to safety protocols and using tools and equipment properly. 
• Effectively communicating with property managers, other team members, and sometimes residents. 
• Completing necessary paperwork, such as make-ready checklists and work orders. 

• Knowledge of basic maintenance and repair techniques, including painting, drywall repair, and plumbing. 
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. 
• Effectively managing time and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines. 
• Ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard and that the apartment is truly move-in ready. 
• Being able to clearly communicate with others and work effectively as part of a team. 
• Being able to identify and resolve maintenance issues. 
• Understanding and adhering to safety procedures and using tools and equipment properly. 

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $18.00 - $18.00 Per Hour
