• Patients per Day: 5
• Call Details: Beeper, 30 min response, ratio 2, 30% callback, 6 phone consults, 1â€"2 patients seen, 1â€"2 admissions
• EMR: MEDHOST
Requirements
• Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Active KY license (IMLC accepted)
• ACLS
• Clean history
Clinical Details
• Scope: Inpatient OBGYN call coverage
• Typical Procedures:
- Low and high-risk pregnancy management - FHR interpretation and OB ultrasounds (Level I and II) - Routine vaginal delivery, low forceps, decision-making for c-sections - Complicated deliveries: c-section, breech, multiples, abruptions - Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations - Open and major operative gynecology procedures (ectopic, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA†s)Compensation
