Deburring & Part Marking (Precision Parts Finishing)

Description:

Use various hand and bench tools to eliminate sharp edges and burrs from finished parts to prepare for final inspection. Set up equipment for and perform product identification marking on finished parts using scribing machine, laser marking machine, hand scriber, metal stamps, or chemical etching equipment. Perform other miscellaneous tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

• Learning and performing general deburring and disassembly & reassembly of parts and assemblies
• Learning and performing crane operation and rigging for lifting and handling larger parts
• Learning and performing parts marking using required tools, equipment
• Prior experience or confirmed experience at previous workplace
• Read and understand part drawings
• Set up and use all BSI marking equipment
