Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and dependable Utility Associate to support our daily operations within the Equipment & Supplies division. This role plays a vital part in ensuring smooth store and warehouse functionality through equipment preparation, customer support, organization, and general upkeep. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, detail-oriented, and capable of handling a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supporting our Equipment & Supplies division while providing support with equipment prep, freight, transfers, store & warehouse cleanliness & organization, etc.
- Report directly to your manager daily for a list of priorities and /or assignments for the day
- Greeting, engaging, and addressing the needs of customers who enter the storefront, qualifying the customer while providing Superior service
- Ensure that all customers receive excellent customer service, in an efficient, timely, professional and respectful manner
- Assist with the opening and closing procedures as dictated by the needs of the business
- Aid with the loading of customers upon completion of sales at the counter, as needed
- Assisting in the maintenance of store front aisles; helping to maintain a signed, clean, and professional storefront to all customers throughout the day
- Assisting in the maintenance of storage areas; helping to maintain a clean and organized storage area for all equipment & supplies
- Assisting in seasonal displays, change outs, and the safety and security of storefront products
- Appropriately fill propane tanks of varying sizes (following appropriate training)
- Adhere to all other company policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent is preferred.
- General mechanical abilities preferred
- Bending, squatting, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling and moving items: Requires the ability to move around the branch and maneuver merchandise when necessary
- Working in all weather conditions: Requires frequent exposure to extreme weather conditions when loading and unloading product
