Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic Content Creator & Digital Storyteller to join our client's Detroit based team, supporting brand storytelling, internal and external communications, and all social media channels. This long-term contract position is ideal for a creative individual with strong digital multimedia abilities and expertise in social media content creation. The role involves hands-on work, including traveling locally to gather stories about the brand, and create engaging content that aligns with brand objectives. Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement creative social media campaigns to enhance brand visibility across platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter.
• Create compelling written and visual content, including short-form copy and graphics, for internal and external communication channels.
• Conduct interviews and gather stories on-site at various locations within a 30-mile radius, showcasing the organization’s initiatives and achievements.
• Manage social media accounts, ensuring consistent branding and adherence to web accessibility standards.
• Collaborate with video production teams to support multimedia content creation.
• Utilize photography skills to capture high-quality images for use in campaigns and publications.
• Design graphics using tools like Adobe Creative Suite and Canva to complement social media posts and marketing materials.
• Monitor and analyze social media metrics to refine strategies and improve engagement.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance the effectiveness of content strategies.
• Proven experience in managing social media accounts and campaigns with a focus on organic content creation.
• Strong writing and editing skills, including copywriting for social media and internal communication.
• Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
• Familiarity with photography equipment and techniques, with the ability to capture high-quality images.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct interviews and develop engaging narratives for digital platforms.
• Knowledge of social media accessibility standards and best practices.
• Comfortable traveling locally for on-site content creation and story gathering. Experience with Digital Photography strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
