We are currently seeking caring, empathetic and energetic (LPN ) Licensed Practical Nurses to provide 1:1 care to medically fragile children in School System for 2025-2026 School Year.

• Current BLS CPR/AED
• Two (2) years of clinical experience as an LPN, with at least one (1) year in the pediatric care setting.
• Provide and document direct nursing care of assigned patients under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. Nursing care is guided by the physician orders and the nursing plan of care. Patient response to care is reported to a registered nurse for evaluation, intervention and modification of the plan of care. Assist other health care personnel in the delivery of patient care.
• Direct care duties include, but not limited to: Obtaining patient histories and assessments; Vital signs; G-tube and feeding pump management; Diabetes care and Insulin pump management; Medication administration, Tracheotomy care and suctioning; Seizure care and preventive disease management
• Participate in maintaining the environment of care including equipment and other material resources.
• Document all interventions, maintain a system for recording clinical notes and providing them to the health suite on a weekly basis (the health suite is responsible for placing clinical notes in the students health file)
• May require nurse to escort client on school bus to and from school
