SURGICAL TECH

** $7,500 Sign on bonus to external hires only ** + DESCRIPTION OF POSITION + The Surgical Tech is responsible for the care and use of instruments in the operating room working under the direct supervision of a registered nurse, certified surgical technologist, and/or surgeon. + + QUALIFICATIONS + Professional/Educational + Completion of a Surgical Technician or Surgical Technology training program. + Certified by the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). + Basic computer skills. + Knowledge of principles of asepsis. + DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required. + Personal + Evidence of good health, grooming and professional conduct. + Desire and ability to cooperate with and/or under the direction of others. + Possesses a sense of responsibility, initiative and honesty. + Ability to follow directions accurately. + Willingness to participate in call schedule and work irregular hours as necessary. Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
