Maintenance Technician

SmartTalent Kirkland is hiring a Maintenance Technician for a food production facility in Woodinville, WA. This position is responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance on food packaging equipment, along with general building and facility repairs. The role includes a mix of day and swing shift work depending on business needs. Candidates should have at least 1 year of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably within the food packaging industry.

TITLE: Maintenance Technician

LOCATION: Woodinville, WA

SCHEDULE: Must be flexible - Monday – Friday, primarily 4:30am – 3:00pm and 3:00pm – 11:30pm, possibly some weekend shifts

PAY: $26 - $28

JOB DUTIES:

• Perform mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical maintenance on food packaging equipment

• Will primarily handle upkeep and periodic maintenance on machines (oiling, degreasing, deep cleaning) and address facility maintenance needs around the building

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical circuitry and wiring

• Complete and track facility maintenance work orders and projects

• Execute preventative maintenance tasks and report findings to Maintenance Manager

• Operate equipment safely and in accordance with company protocols

• Maintain organized maintenance and warehouse areas using 5S principles

• Learn the functions of various machines for troubleshooting and support

• Follow all safety procedures and protocols

• Assist with additional duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 1 year of industrial maintenance experience with food equipment

• Basic knowledge of electrical systems; NEC knowledge and/or state license preferred

• Forklift operation experience and certification

• High school diploma or GED

• Able to stand for 8+ hours and lift up to 70 lbs

• Strong attention to detail and follow-through

• Ability to work both independently and in a team

• Flexible with shift schedules including swing shifts and weekends

• Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
