Pride Health is hiring a Skilled Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support our client at a medical facility in Vista, CA. This is a 8-week contract to hire offering an excellent opportunity to begin working with a leading healthcare organization

Location: Vista, CA

Job Duration: 8 weeks – possibilities for an extension

Shifts: Monday-Friday, Day Shift

Hourly Pay: - $21 - $23/ hour

Scope of services:

· Deliver high-quality patient care through face-to-face, telephone, and electronic contact for examination, treatment, monitoring, and preparation for diagnostic tests or procedures.

· Collect and document patient information, including vital signs, chief complaint, review of medications, allergies, health risk screen information, the status of extended care benefits, and other services.

· Assist physicians and nursing personnel with injections, EKGs, phlebotomy, and other patient care procedures as directed.

· Coordinate patient care as directed by physicians, company standards, and policies.

· Assist with tasks, phone calls, and messages; document all actions taken.

· Proper, concise, and complete EMR documentation and paper-based documentation for all assessments and procedures.

· Prepare and clean patient rooms and set up instruments and equipment according to protocol while maintaining infection control.

Must have Skills/Qualifications/Education / Work Experience:

• BLS from AHA
• Active RMA/CCMA/CMA Certification
• 2+ years working as a medical assistant
• Blingual
