Accounts Receivable/Collections Specialist

Location: Irvine -- Onsite 

Pay: $50,000 to 60,000 DOE

 

We’re looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable/Collections Specialist who will be responsible for managing assigned client accounts with accuracy, urgency, and care. This role focuses on resolving billing discrepancies, following up on past-due invoices, and delivering responsive support to both internal and external stakeholders.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage assigned receivables and drive timely collections efforts
• Investigate and resolve billing issues, disputes, and payment delays
• Review and reconcile account balances
• Prepare invoices for events, services, and applicable charges
• Respond to client inquiries regarding statements, invoices, and tax documentation
• Recommend accounts for write-off or third-party collections based on activity
• Responsible for managing the AR aging 

 

Key Requirements:

• AA degree is preferred 
• 3–5 years of experience in AR, collections, or billing
• Strong communication and client service background
• Able to navigate billing software  and intermediate Excel skills (vlookup/pivots)
• Comfortable handling sensitive client matters with professionalism
• High attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
• NetSuite experience is a plus
• Experience working in client service, legal or financial services industries preferred
