2. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.) EPIC, OP TIME, 3. Required skills and minimum years of experience. 2 years of PACU experience- Preferably Critical Care Experience 4. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc) BLS, ACLS, PALS 5. Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?) Call shift requirements- 3 overnight call shifts in 6 weeks week plotter. No worked weekends. Work shifts vary 8 hours, 10 hrs, 12 hrs in length. 6. Floating to other units/departments. (If so, to which units/departments?) Do not float outside of recovery room area, only within our 5 PACU’s on site 7. Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept. 50 beds total. Gerlach PACU -22 beds Milestone Adult PACU- PACU-14 beds Peds PACU-6 beds GI PACU-6 Beds MRI PACU-2 beds 8. Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only) Phase I Recovery Nurse to patient ratio: 1RN-2Patients Phase 3 Recovery Nurse to patient ratio:1RN-3/4 Patients 9. Dress Code: Surgical Scrubs provided by the facility.
