Unit Details:
Beds: 38
Ratios: 2:1 (Occasionally 3:1)
Equipment: Vents (CPAP, BIPAP, Hi Flow), extensive list of drips
EMR: Meditech 6.1
Staff: Charge Nurse, Clinical Supervisor, 24/7; Nurse Aides, Critical Care Techs
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (subject to need)
Holidays: 1 summer/spring, 1 winter
Scrub Color: Caribbean Blue
Additional Notes:
Must be comfortable with critical patients
Orientation: 2 shifts (3 if heart trained)
In-house Staff: Intensivist, Critical Care NP’s 24/7, Pharmacy, RT 24/7
No Tele/Monitor Techs, no IV team
