Phlebotomist / Medical Assistant

We are seeking a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist to join our team

Overview:

We are a specialized bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) clinic

seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Medical Assistant

with proven phlebotomy skills to join our patient-focused team. The ideal

candidate will provide high-quality clinical support to our physician and help

ensure an excellent patient experience in a concierge wellness-centered

environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures Collect and process blood and other laboratory specimens (venipuncture and fingerstick)
• Document vital signs, medical histories, and patient concerns accurately in EMR
• Administer hormone and GLP=1 injections
• Maintain inventory and cleanliness of exam rooms, phlebotomy station, and medical supplies
• Ensure lab specimens are correctly labeled, stored, and transported according to protocol
• Educate patients on HRT protocols, medication instructions, and post-injection care
• Support front office staff when needed (scheduling, phone calls, check-in/out)
• Follow all HIPAA and OSHA compliance standards
• Contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment

Qualifications:

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) from an accredited program (preferred, not required)
• Phlebotomy certification and at least 1 year of recent blood draw experience ( Preferred )
• Previous experience in a hormone replacement, wellness, or integrative medicine clinic (preferred) not required will train
• Proficient with electronic medical records (EMR), preferably Cerbo
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to multitask and stay organized in a busy clinical setting
• Professional demeanor and compassionate patient care approach

Schedule & Benefits:

• Monday through Thursday 8:30am-5:00pm, Closed Friday, No weekends
