Allegiance Staffing is hiring a Progressive Die Operator on behalf of a reputable metal stamping facility in Louisville, KY. This facility includes a tool & die shop onsite, supporting real-time production and maintenance in a fast-paced, safety-driven environment.
We are looking for a skilled machine operator with experience in progressive die presses who takes pride in quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor stamping presses, welders, cranes, and forklifts
- Perform die changes, machine setups, and basic maintenance
- Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final quality checks (PQI, SPC, etc.)
- Troubleshoot production issues and escalate when necessary
- Maintain accurate paperwork and part counts
- Follow all safety protocols and remove scrap from the press area
- Support and train team members as needed
- Keep a clean, organized work area and assist with continuous improvement efforts
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ year of experience operating progressive dies in a metal stamping facility
- Ability to read work instructions, blueprints, and safety guidelines
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for up to 10 hours
- Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled, noisy, dusty environment
- Forklift experience preferred (or willingness to train)

Schedule:
- Monday to Friday or rotating shifts depending on production demand
