Position Summary


As our Ophthalmic Scribe, you'll play a vital role in supporting our physicians by accurately documenting patient visits, assisting with administrative tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation of our electronic health records. Key Responsibilities

• Accurately document patient visits in real time during ophthalmology and optometry appointments
  
  
• Navigate and update our electronic health records (EHR) system efficiently
  
  
• Print lab reports, treatment summaries, and assist with chart management
  
  
• Communicate professionally with doctors, patients, and staff
  
  
• Coordinate with providers to complete and submit medical records
  
  
• Assist with additional administrative or clinical support tasks as needed
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
  
  
• Previous experience as a medical or ophthalmic scribe preferred
  
  
• Strong computer, typing, and transcription skills
  
  
• Exceptional attention to detail and note-taking accuracy
  
  
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  
  
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  
  
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy clinical setting
  
  
• A desire to learn and grow within the medical field
