About this job
Who We Are
At Kijowski Investments, we provide customized financial planning and investment management tailored to each client’s goals. We build long-term relationships grounded in trust, integrity, and proactive communication. Our structured, personal approach helps clients feel secure about their financial future and helps us deliver lasting results.
We’re a close-knit, two-person team seeking a Financial Advisor who is ready to lead, grow with us, and eventually play a key role in the future of the practice. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a steady, relationship-driven environment and wants to make meaningful contributions without chasing quotas or working in a high-pressure sales culture.
The Role
This is a full advisory role—not an assistant or trainee position. You’ll manage client relationships, guide planning and investment decisions, and contribute to both client growth and internal efficiency. We’re looking for someone who can confidently advise clients while also helping us continue to evolve the business.
You must be persuasive and proactive—capable of building trust quickly, communicating clearly, and closing business when appropriate. Just as importantly, you should be comfortable in a slower-paced office where meaningful conversations, consistency, and long-term service take precedence over hustle and noise.
We want a “driver.” The ideal candidate brings energy and initiative, but also patience, professionalism, and a client-first mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead client review meetings and present financial strategies with clarity and care.
- Build and manage client relationships based on trust, service, and results.
- Develop customized investment plans aligned with client goals.
- Convert prospects into clients through authentic, consultative conversations.
- Support internal processes and bring structure to follow-through and task execution.
- Use Redtail CRM, Orion, and related tools to manage client activity and investment strategies.
Ready to Build Something Meaningful?
If you’re ready to grow your career in a trusted, personal, and forward-looking environment, we’d love to hear from you. Send your resume and a brief cover letter telling us why this role speaks to you.
Requirements
- SIE certification required. Series 7, 63, and 65/66 and additional licenses are a plus (or willingness to obtain).
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in advising, planning, or sales-oriented financial services roles.
- Confident, effective communicator—comfortable leading meetings and building rapport.
- Tech-savvy and organized; familiar with financial planning tools or quick to learn.
- Self-directed and proactive; able to identify needs and act on them without waiting for instruction.
- Comfortable in a slower-paced office environment that prioritizes relationships over transactions.
Benefits
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Location: In-office, Pittsburgh, PA
- Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience
- Growth Path: Potential succession and practice ownership opportunity over time
