Automotive Technician Brakes, Tires, Inspections & Dealership Support

Ultimate Motorsport, Houston’s leading luxury and electric vehicle dealership, is hiring a full-time Automotive Technician / Auto Mechanic for brake repair, tire replacement, vehicle inspections, and general dealership support.

In this role, you’ll perform light-to-medium automotive repairs, including brake and rotor replacement, tire mounting and balancing, and diagnosing mechanical issues. You’ll also inspect incoming auction vehicles for safety and performance, handle vehicle pickup and delivery, and assist with various dealership tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform brake repairs, rotor replacements, tire mounting, wheel balancing, and other light mechanical work

• Conduct vehicle inspections on pre-owned and auction arrivals

• Identify, document, and report mechanical issues to management

• Pick up and deliver vehicles from auctions, customers, and service partners

• Assist in dealership operations and service department tasks

• Maintain a clean, organized work area while following safety procedures

Desired Skills & Qualifications

• Experience as an automotive technician, auto mechanic, or tire/brake specialist preferred

• Ability to diagnose and repair basic automotive issues

• Skilled in using automotive tools, lifts, and tire/balancing machines

• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team

• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
