Requirements:

Heavy Duty Forklift Driver – Louisville, KY

Looking to hire a sit down forklift Driver to perform various duties relating to loading functions. This a Heavy equipment operating position. People with construction machinery operating experience are highly encouraged to apply!

Job duties

• Take direction from supervisors regarding shipping, receiving and storage activities.
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisor and co-worker.
• Assist in shipping / receiving by loading/unloading trucks.
• Ensure that inventory controls are followed and carried out to ensure quality and accuracy of inventory.
• Operate forklift 80% of the time as orders come in.
• Ensure general cleanliness; Organize / Maintain safe and clean work environment
• MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT LARGE UNEVEN MATERIALS IN AN INDUSTRIAL UNLOADING SETTING
• Follow all Company safety procedures; Wear the proper safety equipment; Perform daily equipment/safety inspections.

Experience/Education

• High School diploma or Ged
• Must have Operating knowledge of Forklift with 2 years experience
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
