Job Description

The Residential Service Provider (RSP) position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, team oriented, recovery treatment environment helping individuals along the path of long-term recovery. The RSPs will work as an integral part of a multi-functioning team that works interdependently with each other.

Shift Available, Saturday and Sunday 8PM-8AM

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Supervise residents for extended time periods.

  • Maintain a high level of engagement with all residents to ensure an environment of recovery is being maintained.

  • Monitor residents’ activities, groups, chore lists, weekly visitation, etc.

  • Maintain a positive, professional attitude toward residents, staff, and volunteers.

  • Participate in facility group activities.

  • Handle crisis situations in a calm supportive manner.

  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with company, state, federal, 42 CFR, and HIPPA rules and regulations.

  • Create a safe and healthy environment for residents.

  • Supervise self-administration of medications.

  • Complete drug screening.

  • Comply with random employee drug screening.

  • Other assigned duties.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

  • Some combination of experience working in residential treatment environments and lived experience with SUD and/or supporting loved ones with SUD.

  • Prefer trained Peer Recovery Specialists (or in current pursuit of CPRS)

  • Valid driver's license

  • Ability to articulate your recovery path

  • Self-motivated

  • Availability to work some evening, overnight and/or weekend shifts

  • Good communication skills

  • Ability to maintain program requirements and boundaries with compassion and respect

  • Problem solving abilities

  • Ability to complete and submit documentation in a timely manner
