General Labor - Full-time

pGENERAL PURPOSE/p pPerform a variety of general duties of a basic, repetitive, and/or manual nature that are relevant to the work area(s) being supported./p pJOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/p p· Assist operators as necessary/p p· Load and/or unload materials, ingredients, parts, products, cases, crates, and pallets/p p· Move, stack, or place items on conveyor manually or by mechanized means/p p· Deliver production or area specific items to designated work areas for processing/p p· Pack products in crates or boxes by hand/p p· Sort, bundle, and fill containers or place in assembled units/p p· Mark or put identifying labels on product loads/p p· Construct or de-construct shipping boxes/p p· Maintain general housekeeping of the assigned area/p p· Complete all required paperwork accurately and legibly/p p· Report quality and operational issues or irregularities to supervisor as they occur/p p· Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues/p p· Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements/p p· The requirements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employee, but is not a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required. Other duties may be assigned as required/p pEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/p p· High school diploma or equivalent preferred/p p· Warehouse, production, or general work experience preferred/p p· Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment/p
