Staff work with families in their homes and in the community to empower parents to be their child’s first teacher, develop positive parenting skills, encourage parent-child bonding and attachment, helping families build protective factors, and monitor and support healthy child development.nbsp;/p pstrongEducation/License:/strongnbsp;/p pHigh School Diploma / GED with at least 1-year Early Childhood Experience required. Associate or Bachelor degree preferred. Some previous home visiting experience preferred.nbsp;/p pstrongLicenses and Certifications:nbsp;/strong/p pnbsp;Valid driver's license, registration and insurance. Own vehicle used to travel to and from office/home visits.nbsp;/p pstrongResponsibilities/strong:nbsp;/p ul liBuild positive and supportive relationships with families; administer formal and informal child development and parent-child bonding assessments appropriately and interpret results./li liRecognize and effectively address family's concerns in helping them develop and work toward family goals.nbsp;/li liMake appropriate referrals to medical and health providers.
