The right Ride Maintenance Tech I host checklist will include equal parts curious learner, innovator, administrator, detail driver, mentor, and motivator./p pThe Ride Maintenance Technician I position is responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance for all designated rides./p p style="text-align: justify;"Additionally, the ideal candidate will be able display and live out emLead with Love/em qualities, strongly rooted in the Dollywood Company culture, by being patient, kind, trusting, unselfish, truthful, forgiving, dedicated and accountable./p p style="text-align: justify;" /p pstrongSummary of Essential Functions and Responsibilities/strong/p ul lispanResponsible for preventive and corrective maintenance for individual or groups of attractions rides and other equipment typically utilized in theme park attractions including but not limited to: troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, systems animation and special effects/span/li lispanInspections include testing, verification and/or calibration of applicable mechanical systems/span/li lispanRespond to downtime, repair and ride recovery issues/span/li lispanDiagnose system failures and provide immediate correction actions. Research defective mechanically-controlled items/parts and instructional information to complete the repair process when needed/span/li lispanTroubleshoot by referring to technical manuals and technical library while utilizing a systematic approach/span/li lispanAssist in assembly and disassembly for annual inspections and ensure verification of quality control/NDT requirements have been met/span/li lispanInput in log books: completion of inspections, corrective action and/or repairs made, and lists applicable parts used/span/li lispanSupport Ride Maintenance Technician II or III on modifications to ride vehicles or show equipment/span/li lispanLearn and actively participate in Environmental, Health Safety responsibilities by following established Dollywood policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities/span/li lispanConsistently practice safe work habits including, but not limited to the use of personal protective equipment, safe lifting practices and reporting of unsafe situations./span/li lispanKeep all records up to date and current in an accessible, organized fashion. (i.e. logbooks, inspection forms, etc.)/span/li lispanEnsure that the ride is clean and visually in compliance with manufacturer’s specifications, guest and Dollywood expectations/span/li lispanObtain knowledge and understanding of ride parts inventory for assigned area/span/li lispanNotify the Foreman or Supervisor of any materials necessary to ensure safe, continuous operation/span/li lispanClean maintenance shop, stations, equipment, and tools/span/li lispanManagement reserves the right to change and/or add to these duties at any time/span/li lispanTasks involve the regular and at times sustained performance of moderately physically demanding work. This typically involves some combination of balancing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
