Facility Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift

pspan style="font-family: Calibri , sans-serif;font-size: 11.0pt;"strongSUMMARY:/strong/span/ppspan style="font-family: Calibri , sans-serif;font-size: 11.0pt;"The Facility Maintenance Technician will ensure proper working condition and usage of facility and facility machinery including proper safety and signage./span/ppspan style="font-family: Calibri , sans-serif;font-size: 11.0pt;"strongESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:/strong/span/pullispan style="font-family: Calibri , sans-serif;font-size: 11.0pt;"Maintain and troubleshoot the facility, terminal equipment and repair basic malfunctions./span/lilispan style="font-family: Calibri , sans-serif;font-size: 11.0pt;"Observe and implement resolutions to safety or security concerns or issues in relation to terminal equipment and facility, in cooperation with safety and security personnel./span/lilispan style="font-family: Calibri , sans-serif;font-size: 11.0pt;"Examine and maintain facility appearance and signage. /span/lilispan style="font-family: Calibri , sans-serif;font-size: 11.0pt;"Ensure facility working conditions are clean and safe. /span/lilispan style="font-family: Calibri , sans-serif;font-size: 11.0pt;"Responsible for minor electrical repairs (i.e. receptacles, GFI replacement, office lighting repairs)./span/lilispan style="font-family: Calibri , sans-serif;font-size: 11.0pt;"Responsible for restroom repairs (minor plumbing), sheetrock repairs, painting./span/lilispan style="font-family: Calibri , sans-serif;font-size: 11.0pt;"Install guarding throughout Facility./span/lilispan style="font-family: Calibri , sans-serif;font-size: 11.0pt;"Conduct minor repairs in overhead door and HVAC troubleshooting./span/lilispan style="font-family: Calibri , sans-serif;font-size: 11.0pt;"Conduct basic maintenance and troubleshooting of trash compactors and/or bailers./span/lilispan style="font-family: Calibri , sans-serif;font-size: 11.0pt;"Repair dock equipment (i.e. minor repairs in dock levelers, lighting, and safety guards)./span/lilispan style="font-family: Calibri , sans-serif;font-size: 11.0pt;"Charge and maintain forklift battery (distilled water filling), charging stations and cleanup of acid deposits./span/lilispan style="font-family: Calibri , sans-serif;font-size: 11.0pt;"Work with facility and forklift vendors to initiate and complete repairs beyond our ability to repair (i.e. requires expert OEM knowledge, parts, or tools); and to control and audit vendor PM process./span/lilispan style="font-family: Calibri , sans-serif;font-size: 11.0pt;"Work very closely with Safety Committee and needs throughout facility to install and maintain all signs, floor markings, guards.
