pspanstrongJob description/strong/span/p pspanThe Safeway Ice Cream Plant located in Bellevue, Washington, has an opening for an Ice Cream Production Worker./span/p pspanstrongCompetitive Wages/strong – The pay range is $24.71 to $32.95 per hour, but no less than the local minimum wage./span/p p style="margin-left:.5in"spanStarting rates will vary based on things like location, experience, qualifications, and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement. Additional premiums for swing and grave shifts are available. Dependent on length of service, hours worked and any applicable collective bargaining agreement, benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay (accrued based on hours worked), PTO/Vacation pay (accrued based on hours worked), paid holidays (between 7-9 days annually), bereavement pay, and retirement benefits (pension and/or 401k eligibility).What you will be doing/span/p pspanPrimary job functions are to receive ice cream bars/popsicles from the machine chute and place either 6 or 12 bars (depending on packaging) on a moving conveyor and move 8 or 12 boxes of ice cream into a cardboard sleeve. Packers empty garbage and dispose of defective products, clean equipment at the end of the production run and rotate among packing positions./span/p pspanstrongShiftsnbsp;/strongare currently 1pm to 9:30pm (subject to change due to seniority), Monday through Friday.
