Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety./ph3Responsibilities/h3divul liComply with local, state and federal regulations; report all illegal activity, including robbery, theft or fraud/li liComply with and reinforce all safety and sanitation regulations/guidelines/procedures and programs according to company, local, state, and federal health code regulations; identify unsafe conditions and notify store management/li liCreate an environment that enables customers to feel welcome, important and appreciated/li liMaintain departmental standards including keeping clean and organized work stations and customer waiting areas/li liUnderstand and follow the company guidelines on computerized inventory management, control, and ordering of non-legend drugs/li liComplete all aspects of allowable inventory control, including shelf maintenance/li liAnswer phone and triage calls and answer inquires as appropriate/li liPromote sales and services to customers and store associates/li liUnderstand and adhere to guidelines on accepting and tendering vendor coupons, limits on cash shortages and company shrink guidelines/li liUnderstand and follow the company guidelines on the operation of the cash register and follow all cashier handling policies to prevent loss including tendering electronic fund transactions such as Credit/Debit Cards, EBT and Gift Cards, as well as cash and check transactions/li liProvide a stellar customer experience while accurately and efficiently performing all steps of release to patient and product dispensing, if allowable by state law/li liUnderstand and adhere to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations and the company’s policies regarding the same/li liSupport company health and wellness initiatives/li liAbility to work cooperatively in high paced and sometimes stressful environment./li liAbility to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner./li liAbility to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information./li liAbility to follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues./li liProvide support and assistance through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and/or older adults./li liMust be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation/li /ul/divh3Qualifications/h3divpMINIMUM/p ul liHigh School Diploma or GED/li liMust be 18 years of age/li liAbility to handle confidential information/li /ul pDESIREDnbsp;/p ul liAny previous comparable experience/li liAny experience with customer service, including registries, phone, and cashier/li liAny experience with inventory control in a retail environment/li /ul/divh2Company/h2divtable tbody tr tdBased in Hutchinson, Kansas, Dillons merged with The Kroger Company in 1983.
