Lead Facilities Technician, Museum - Full-time

Overview: p style="margin: 0px;"span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: black; font-size: 10pt;"This role directs maintenance, janitorial, and facilities responsibilities for the Santa Ynez Chumash Museum Cultural Center. This position oversees various Team Members, provided by Casino maintenance, sustainability, and facilities departments, specific to systems and maintenance of the Museum building and grounds. A Team Member in a matrixed job has multiple reporting relationships. font-size: 10pt;"Corresponds with department leadership and staff to coordinate and facilitate maintenance service requests./span/lilispan style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"Oversees and coordinates duties of vendors, outsourced service providers, and contractors to protect the maintenance interest of the facilities./span/lilispan style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: black; font-size: 10pt;"Ensures proper and timely repair and maintenance of assigned area./span/lilispan style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"Acts as project lead on assigned maintenance and/or construction projects. /span/lilispan style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"Performs quality control check of all repairs./span/lilispan style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"Works closely with appropriate department management to coordinate scheduling or repairs and area closures. /span/lilispan style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"Maintains inventory of tools and supplies utilized by the technicians to make repairs. /span/lilispan style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"Performs a full range of preventive and general maintenance./span/lilispan style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"Utilizes the work order system to assign and complete projects./span/lilispan style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"Confers with the Facilities Manager regarding workloads and priorities. /span/lilispan style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"Keeps records of repairs completed; prepares reports as needed./span/lilispan style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"Prepares estimates of work hours, materials, and resources required for projects. /span/lilispan style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;
