Come join us and shine brighter together./span/p pspanbr /As a Mammography Tech, you will perform mammography exams for use of diagnosis and treatment of disease or injury to patients of all ages. /span/p p /p pspanspanYou'll be part of a team /spanspanproviding a wide range of screening, diagnostic and interventional procedures /spanspanwith compassion and integrity to ensure the highest quality, access, service and value to our patients, referring providers and partners.  You'll play an important part of that process by using your knowledge/span of principles and procedures of diagnostic radiology and mammography and the operation and maintenance of radiologic equipment.br /br //span/p pspanspanspanEssential Duties/span/spanspan:/span /span/p pspan(55%) Patient Care amp; Imaging/span/p ul lispanProduces diagnostic images in assigned area and performs quality control tasks as assigned/span/li lispanScreens patients before exam for any precautions or contradictions pertaining to the examination/span/li lispanPerforms mammography examinations according to a high quality standard in order to service the patient and referring physician/span/li lispanPromotes and motivates good customer relations with patients, physicians, visitors, and other company personnel/span/li lispanMaintains and adjusts equipment/span/li /ul pspan(40%) Department Support/span/p ul lispanParticipates in staff meetings with employee involvement/span/li lispanMaintains positive work relationships with radiologists and other physicians referring to the company/span/li lispanAssists in maintaining an updated radiographic protocol manual/span/li lispanAccurately maintains patient records within Radiology Information Software/span/li lispanMaintains an orderly and clean work area to promote good safety habits for patients and co-workers/span/li lispanAssists with training of new associates, providing resource and technical expertise/span/li /ul pspan (5%) Performs other duties as assigned/span/p
