Seeks alternate solutions to deadline requests, as needed/liliCheck corrected proofs of legal documents against mark-up for comparison and quality assurance./liliCheck legal documents for correct usage of cross references and defined terms./liliAssist with document production and preparation as needed./liliAssist with training team members as needed./liliHandle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information./liliCommunicate with manager and client on job or deadline issues./liliAdhere to Williams Lea policy in addition to client site policy./liliPerform other duties as assigned./li/ulp/ppbJob Requirements:/b/pulliBachelor’s degree in English/Journalism preferred or equivalent work experience required./liliMinimum (1) year proofreading experience preferably in a legal, banking or large corporate environment/liliIntermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint desired./liliKnowledge of a legal timekeeping or job tracking system is preferred./liliAbility to work in a fast-paced, team environment./liliStrong attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality./liliAbility to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines./liliMust have good organizational skills/liliAbility to handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information/liliAbility to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team/liliExcellent verbal and written communication skills./liliAbility to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing/liliMust be self-motivated with a positive attitude/liliProven customer service skills are required in order to create, maintain and enhance customer relationships/li/ulp/ppbWho we are:/b In a rapidly changing world, the ability to innovate and break new ground drives progress.
