Wait Person - ILU (On Call) - Full-time / Part-time

pstrongPosition Summary:/strongbr /The Waitperson is responsible for the set-up, delivery and clean-up of the meal period for which they are responsible. The Waitperson is also responsible for providing service in a friendly and congenial manner./p pThe starting salary for this position ranges from $17.00 to $20.40/hour. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered./p pstrongPosition Responsibilities include:/strong/p ul liSets wait station(s) and keeps station well stocked and cleaned. /li liBusses and resets tables as needed. /li liTakes resident meal orders in accordance with prescribed diets, preferences, dislikes and food allergies in an accurate and courteous manner and provides prompt service. /li liAssists with preparing plates and serving residents. /li liPerforms the assigned opening and closing duties promptly and efficiently. /li liKeeps Cooks and Supervisor/Manager on Duty informed of questions, reactions, comments or problems that may arise. /li liAssists at special events as requested. /li liFamiliar with food service disaster plan./li /ul pstrongQualifications/strong/p pstrongEducation:br //strongHigh school graduation or equivalent G.E.D., preferred./p pstrongTraining and Experience:br //strongPrevious experience working in a restaurant or food service establishment preferred.  California Food Handler./p pemspanThe final candidate must successfully pass Eskaton's post offer, pre-employment testing which includes a criminal background check, drug test, TB screen test and health screen.  All new hires are required to sign an arbitration agreement as a condition of employment./span/em/p pemspanEskaton is an Equal Opportunity employer.
