The Department of Athletics at the University of Virginia is now accepting applications for the position of Student Ticketing Assistant (Student Wage) to support the Athletics Ticket Office./pp/ppThe Student Ticketing Assistant will provide assistance to the Athletics Ticket Office with various tasks in-office and on gameday related to ticket sales, customer service, and gameday needs. The Student Ticketing Assistant will help ensure a seamless and enjoyable fan experience for those attending ticketed university events. The day-to-day schedule can be set according to the student’s class schedule; a minimum of 10 – 20 hours a week is preferred.  The Student Ticketing Assistant will abide and adhere to the highest confidentiality standards, as well as all NCAA, ACC, and University rules and regulations./pp/ppbRoles/Responsibilities:/b/pp/ppuTicket Office/u/pulliProvide excellent customer service to patrons in person, on the phone, via email, etc./liliProcess phone and window sales during business hours./liliStay informed and up-to-date on all policy and events./liliProvide administrative support/run errands, as needed./liliAssist with the printing and organization of paper tickets./li/ulp/ppuFootball and Basketball Gameday/u/pulliAvailability for pregame assistance for all Football games, select Basketball games./liliAssist with crowd control, ticket seller support, and general gameday operations./liliAssist with the scanning of digital and paper tickets./liliAssist with the management of the designated student entrances./liliProvide administrative support/run errands, as needed./li/ulp/pp​bspanRequirements:/span/b/pulliExcellent customer service skills and professional work habits.  /liliAbility to work independently and take initiative./liliExcellent oral and written communication skills.  /liliDependable and responsible.  /liliOrganized and able to multi-task.  /liliExperience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)/liliAbility to maintain confidentiality./liliSome office experience is preferred./li/ulp/ppbPosition Compensation:/b $13.00 Hourly/pp/ppPlease include a resume with your application.
